ABOUT ME

 STAYING OPTIMISTIC AND FEISTY

Hi there! My name is Bola O. I started on my breast cancer journey in 2021. Prior to that, I had dealt with histories of multiple family members with cancer – from lung cancer, endometrial cancer to colorectal cancer. I had previously worked as a Pediatric Oncology nurse, then Adult Oncology nurse and nothing prepared me for the reality of facing my own breast cancer diagnosis, surgery, radiation and hormone treatments. It's been intense, for sure. I am committed to staying optimistic and feisty and continuing to raise awareness about breast cancer, particularly in disproportionately affected populations.
